BIO:
Karol Lindholm, filmmaker and festival curator was born in 1990 in the Polish city of Koszalin, just a stone’s throw from the sea. His life has been a journey across modern Europe, living in Germany, Poland, and Denmark, with roots in Sweden.
At the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at Silesia University, he earned a Master of Art in Cinematography and Photography. He also graduated in Screenwriting and Directing from the Wajda School and Studio through the Ekran+ program. His last feature film project has been part of the Camerimage Talent Demo Program and Berlinale Talents. Now based in Berlin, Lindholm works across various fields, including documentaries and fiction.
His short films have been screened and awarded at various film festivals and featured in art galleries. Lindholm is also associated with one of the biggest independent film festivals in the USA. He has been part of the programming team for the short documentary competition at the Slamdance Film Festival since 2020.
